Loren Bose/Sol Cal Construction did a whole house remodel for us. This included kitchen, bathrooms, flooring, interior paint, bedroom carpet, fireplace, doors, plumbing, electrical work, etc... Loren is a good communicator. He listened to our wish list, made suggestions of his own based on our wants, and presented us with a clear and concise plan. Loren was clear on our budget and stuck to it. He was very methodical with his time frames for different parts of the project to be started and completed. Everything went smoothly according to the plan. The remodel was completed as per the time frames of the plan. The workmanship was good quality. All of Loren's subcontractors were professional. Loren was on site daily. His project manager Alfredo was also present throughout the project. Since our house remodel was completed, we have referred Loren to other friends and neighbors.

Loren and his team at Sol Cal Construction are my "go to" contractor. He initially did the remodel of my main bathroom. His professionalism, reliability, and expertise during that job was excellent - so much so that I have called him for any and all my projects in my 50 year old home. He has given me good advise for improvements but not as though he is trying to over-sell. He always does quality work while respecting my budget.

Our world is simple, Just get me the proposal and give me a timeline to complete the job. Loren and his Team have never missed for us. Often times he is done earlier than planned. Joy to work with as the properties he works on for us are very valuable and I don't have to worry about them taking care of the home while onsite. Loren, the owner of Sol Cal Construction gets five stars for a recent tile job he did for me. It wasn't a terribly challenging project overall, but he handled it with great customer service, quick response time to phone calls and emails, coordinated the pick up of the tile and installation with our timeline, and ultimately, in the end, his company did a great installation and did it quickly. So much of feeling like you're in good hands depends on the contractor's ability to provide good customer service and I got that with Sol Cal Construction. I feel like I've found my go-to contractor for all my future home repairs/renovations. I highly, highly recommend Sol Cal Construction.

We used SolCal for a project in our condo in Cathedral Canyon Country Club. The objective was to convert an atrium into an indoor game room. This involved adding to the roof, pouring a new concrete floor up to the level of the rest of the foundation, finishing the walls and ceiling plus some new wiring to outlets, etc. We are very pleased with the results and I would highly recommend Loren Bose for any project. He's very skilled and super easy to deal with because he provides prompt answers to questions and keeps you informed on his progress daily. His estimated cost for the job was exactly what he charged us and there were zero "unexpected" cost overruns. I have recommended SolCal to several of our acquaintances.

Have use Loren several times for projects (drywall, paint, misc repairs) at our home in Rancho Mirage. Loren is very reliable, punctual and does great work.
